Your initial consultation will involve a two hour extensive exam including pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis, as well as, skin, hair, and facial analysis. Your Ayurvedic Practitioner will also complete an abdominal examination and monitor your respiration and blood pressure. All areas of lifestyle will be discussed as deemed appropriate and an evaluation will be given determining your doshic constitution, Prakruti - Vikruti (True Nature vs. imbalance). Suggestions will be made on balancing the elements of the body, bringing it back into unison, if practiced on a regular basis.

Initally, follow-up visits will be recommended by your Ayurvedic Practitioner, allowing them to monitor changes in the body as they occur; this may be done through, but not limited to, pulse and tongue diagnosis. Follow-up visits will decrease as healthy patterns are established through lifestyle awareness.

Telephone consultations may be scheduled after the completion of your initial exam. This does not replace a follow up visit. You may schedule in 15 minute increments depending on how much time you feel is necessary. This is a great way to remain on your path and stay connected to your Practitioner without having to commit to a full appointment.
